OCS Life Sciences at ACDM, Berlin – let’s meet!
We’re exited that our colleagues Jules van der Zalm and Melanie Schopp will be representing OCS Life Sciences at ACDM26 in Berlin, 15–17 March 2026!
At this year’s conference, we’ll be highlighting our work in:
- AI-assisted solution development
- Data visualisation & dashboarding, covering end-to-end dataflow
- Mapping Engine: making conversion of clinical data faster, easier, and cheaper
ACDM26 brings together leading clinical data management professionals from pharma, biotech, CROs, technology companies, and academia, and we’re looking forward to connecting and discussing how OCS can help turn data into actionable insights.
Don’t forget to visit our booth to meet us and learn more!
See you next week!

Luis Andre Soriano to join PHUSE EU Connect Committee
We are proud to announce that Luis Andre Soriano, Senior Statistical Programmer at OCS Life Sciences, has been accepted to join the organising committee for PHUSE EU Connect.
Luis will be teaming up with Els Janssens and Nick de Donder to chair the Standards Implementation (SI) stream. This stream focuses on the practical adoption of industry standards like CDISC and HL7, exploring the tools and strategies that make data exchange and submission more efficient across life sciences.
"The Standards Implementation Stream is dedicated to the practical adoption of industry standards, such as CDISC or HL7, to support the acquisition, exchange, analysis, submission, and archival of data and metadata across the life sciences industry. The stream highlights the processes, methodologies, strategies, and technologies (including tools and scripts) in applying these standards consistently, effectively, and efficiently."
If you are interested in presenting in this stream – or any of the other streams at PHUSE – then mark your calendars:
- PHUSE EU Connect
- Glasgow, Scotland
- 15 to 18 November 2026
- Call for Papers opens on 1st April!
We wish Luis and his co-chairs the best of luck (and plenty of fun!) as they prepare for this event.
PHUSE Single Day Event in Cambridge
October 2027 marks an important milestone: SAS Viya 3.5 will move into Limited Support. At this stage, access to updates, fixes, and priority case handling becomes more restricted. While 2027 may seem some time away, this transition is a valuable opportunity to reassess your environment and ensure it remains secure, fully supported, and aligned with future business goals.
In addition, SAS 9.4 M7 is already in Limited Support. Some organisations are proactively upgrading to SAS 9.4 M9, moving to SAS Viya 4, or transitioning to another fully supported platform. Others are still evaluating their options. The key question is: what are your support plans?
Our Managed Services team specialises in helping SAS customers stay fully supported. We’ve successfully delivered SAS migrations and modernisation projects that reduce risk, improve performance, and give teams confidence in their analytics platform.
Not sure where to start in planning your SAS migration? Get in touch with us today to discuss how we can help you stay supported, secure, and future-ready.
