The OCS Traineeship is a great way to kickstart your professional career!

For Young Professionals we have set up two different training tracks:
the Traineeship SAS Business Intelligence and
the Traineeship OCS Life Sciences. 

As a trainee at OCS Consulting you will undergo a focused two month training program to get acquinted with SAS
Software. We offer the required training and exposure to experienced and motivated colleagues to exchange 
knowledge and to ensure you are well equipped for the task.

After successfully completing the required training we offer you a chance to work with leading organisations in
their industry and you will receive an employment contract for an indefinite period.

Traineeship OCS Life Sciences


The key objective for new career starters or new entrants to the Life Science industry is to quickly become familiar with all aspects of Clinical Trial Reporting and Data Analysis.

The measure of success during part 1 is to obtain Certification in SAS Base Programming. During the hands-on part II of the Traineeship, the theoretical knowledge is put into practice for the tabulation and reporting of real life clinical trial data. Part 2 further includes a classroom training to introduce the CDISC standards.

Two months of intensive training

  • Month 1: Self-paced learning, coached by experts in the field.
  • Month 2: Get hands-on practice with the tabulation and reporting of real clinical study data. Attend a classroom training to introduce the CDISC SDTM standards.

Success criteria

  • Take and pass the SAS Base Programmer exam. 
  • Demonstrate your understanding of your newly gained knowledge to one of our experts.

Traineeship SAS Business Intelligence

Key objective is to quickly become familiar with all aspects of Data Management en Analysis (BI). SAS is leader in business analytics software and services, and the largest independent vendor in the business intelligence market. The program is focused on obtaining hands-on experience in the form of case studies and requires candidates to be self-sufficient. Issues can be resolved within the team of candidates and the team will be supported by our team of SAS experts. The measure of success during part I is to obtain Certification in SAS Base Programming. During the hands-on part II of the Traineeship, the theoretical knowledge is put into practice in a business case at one of our clients. Part II further includes obtaining the SAS Visual Analytics Certification.

  • Month 1: Self-paced learning, coached by experts in the field.
  • Month 2: Get hands-on practice with SAS (and Visual Analytics) during a business case with real data.

Success criteria

  • Take and pass the SAS Base and SAS Visual Analytics exam.
  • Demonstrate your understanding of your newly gained knowledge to one of our experts.
